Huma Qureshi reacts to Dhurandhar 2-toxic clash, says it’s a win-win situation
Huma Qureshi has reacted to the box office clash between Dhurandhar 2 and Toxic, calling it a “win-win” for the Indian film industry. The actor believes that the Eid release will be a great time for film lovers, with both the films having scope to be successful.

Dhurandhar 2, starring Ranveer Singh, is all set to release in theaters on March 19 during the Eid weekend, but the much-awaited sequel may not be able to perform solo at the box office. This film is clashing with Yash’s film toxicMaking it one of the biggest shows of the year. Amidst the growing face-to-face discussion, the actor Huma Qureshi, who is involved toxichas called this clash a “win-win” for the industry and the audience.

while talking to Variety IndiaHuma Qureshi said, “No matter what I say, I think whichever way I look at it, it’s a win for the Indian film industry and it’s going to be great for the audience. It’s a win, the way I look at it and I think it’s going to be a great time for the audience watching the film, and it’s going to do well for everybody.”
Earlier, filmmaker Sanjay Gupta had also shared his views on the box office clash. He told, “I will watch both the films, but, unfortunately, both are coming together because they are so much awaited. And they will just interfere in each other’s business.” Variety India.
He further added, “It’s like when my film Qualified Released with rich man. Both the films would have benefited if they were released separately and did not clash. Because we have to keep in mind that we are not a super-rich country, and our people do not have so much money that they can just go and watch two movies back to back. There are many people who cannot watch two films in a month. It’s unnecessary, but then again, the producers probably have their reasons.” He added that though both films are expected to do well, neither may be able to fully maximize their individual potential due to the clash.
Dhurandhar 2 It is directed by Aditya Dhar And produced by Jyoti Deshpande, Aditya Dhar and Lokesh Dhar under Jio Studios and B62 Studios. This film serves as a direct sequel stalwart (2025) and ends the two-part franchise.
toxicWritten by Yash and Geethu Mohandas and directed by Mohandas, it is shot simultaneously in Kannada and English, with dubbed versions in several Indian languages planned. The film also stars Kiara Advani, Nayanthara and Tara Sutaria in lead roles.
