Huma Qureshi sidestepped questions over the repeated postponements of Yash’s Toxic and pointed towards its new release date of August 26.
Actress Huma Qureshi recently dodged a question about the repeated delays in Yash’s film Toxic: A fairy tales for adults. After initially avoiding box office clashes Dhurandhar: Revenge Pushed from release in March amid international conflicts, the film was later rescheduled for June 4. Now it will be released in theaters on 26th August. When asked several times about the reason behind the postponement, Huma said that the focus should be on the release of the film rather than the reasons for the delay.

Whatever the reason, I think the focus now should be on the fact that fans are incredibly excited for the release of the film. I am also very excited, because from what I have seen, I can say that it is a visual spectacle. It is a huge film.”
He further added, “I haven’t seen the entire film yet, but based on what I’ve seen, every actor and every character has given their best performance. I don’t think audiences have ever experienced action on this scale before. So, it doesn’t matter whether the film will be released in March, June or August. The goal is not to release earlier; to release the film when it’s actually ready.”
The actor also said that he saw stalwart And he liked the first part very much and after the success he also talked to Aditya Dhar.
Toxic new promo under investigation
The name of the recently released promo video of the film is Ladies and gentlemen. While the promo highlights the female characters of the film, it has also been criticized by a section of social media users. Many accused the producers of objectifying women and argued that despite promos focusing on them, the leading ladies have little work to do.
