Dhurandhar collected Rs. Earned around Rs 15 crore on its fourth Thursday at the Indian box office. The New Year holidays saw a boost in business and collections increased by more than 40 percent. The film cleared the collection of so many crores. Crossing the Rs 100 crore mark in its fourth week, it became Rs 4 crore. 100 crore plus week for the film. No other film has more than two.
The fourth week was already a record for Hindi films in three days, with Dhurandhar setting a new record at more than double the previous one. This was also a record at the All India level, earning Rs. Baahubali: The Conclusion grossed Rs 83 crore by a wide margin. Dhurandhar now has two weekly records to his name. It will compete with Kantara (2022) for the record of fifth week.
This Ranveer Singh starrer film has also crossed the Rs 1 crore mark. 700 crore nett mark with four weeks total box office collection. 704 crore nett. This is a new benchmark for Bollywood box office. This was in 2008 when Rs. 100 crore nett mark broken, just another year to go for the next hundred. Then it took another 5 years for Rs. 300 crores, and finally, Rs. 400 crore to Rs. Turnover worth Rs 600 crore in 2023. Another crore rupees may be added to the film. Rs 800 crore is in its name, which will largely depend on how it collects in the fifth week.
Dhurandhar has already emerged as the highest grossing Hindi film in Delhi-UP, East Punjab and Mysore circuits. In the biggest circuit, Mumbai, the film will overtake Pushpa 2 (Hindi) in Maharashtra, but will lag in Gujarat. In contrast, it has overtaken Chhawa in Gujarat but will lag far behind it in Maharashtra. Overall, Dhurandhar is set to finish third after these two films, although it will cross Rs. 200 crore net worth milestone.
Rajasthan is likely to finish second, leaving CI and CP Brar’s film Pushpa 2 (Hindi) behind. In the eastern circuit as well as Nizam and TNK, it is expected to be a few notches below Jawan, Pathan and a few other films.
