Hrithik Roshan’s birthday poem for son Hridhaan is full of love
Hrithik Roshan and Sussanne Khan shared special posts as their son Hridhaan turned 18. Hrithik revived a poem from 2021 that described his feelings as a proud father.
Actor Hrithik Roshan shared a note on his son Hridhaan Roshan’s 18th birthday, reminiscing about a poem he wrote for him in 2021 and saying it still feels equally meaningful. The post marked Hridhaan’s entry into adulthood, with Hrithik writing about his vulnerability, resilience and calm spirit.
Ridan’s mother, Sussanne Khan, also marked the occasion by releasing a video montage of the young player and a note welcoming him into adulthood. Both posts focused on qualities he said set him apart as he turned 18.

Hrithik Roshan’s message
Describing himself as “no poet”, Hrithik wrote in his note about a kind of strength which, in his words, is quiet but steady. He described Ridan as a “peaceful warrior” and said he had witnessed his resilience time and again.
“I’m so proud of the vulnerability you wear so openly, but just behind it – there exists a second skin, flexible, unwavering. It’s easy to miss. But I’ve seen it – again and again. You are a raging fire… behind calm eyes. You are a different kind of warrior. Not loud, not restless – but steady, aware and deeply strong. A kind so rare that it often leaves me bewildered. A peaceful warrior. This world needs more of her. The world will test you. But I already know how you will face it. Happy 18th, I love you.”
In his note, Hrithik said that the poem he wrote in 2021 still feels relevant, and he used it to write about the way he sees Hridhaan as he steps into a new phase of life.
Sussanne Khan’s post
Sussanne Khan also shared a collection of photos of Hridhaan on his birthday and wrote a note for him as he turned 18, welcoming him into adulthood.
He wrote, “You have the most incredibly bright heart I have ever seen.. What you see through your lens is so unique.. Happy 18th Birthday my heart darling see the world through your lens and I know you will add your magic wherever you go. Welcome to adulthood.. From here to beyond time.. Spread your goodness and personality near and far. I am always with you tirelessly. Love you beyond words. Am.. and so proud to be your mother.”
Hrithik and Sussanne married in December 2000. They welcomed their first son, Rehaan Roshan, in March 2006, and their second son, Hridaan Roshan, in May 2008. The couple separated in 2014 after 14 years of marriage.
