Actor Hrithik Roshan shared an emotional note on becoming a father, sharing a throwback picture with his sons – Rehaan and Hridhaan. They shared how proud they are of their children’s talents, accomplishments, work-ethic and humility.
Hrithik captioned his Instagram post, “Another statutory warning. #Dear…Man, it’s so much fun to see your kids shine. I’m thinking to myself how proud I am as a father. For the men they are growing into, their talents, achievements, their work ethic, humility, sheer pride. Then I realized how pride always reflects achievement. If I perform I am loved. And slowly proud of that. The trick man starts pretending as “Luv” (sic).

Talking about his love for his sons he said, “And so through this rant I want to clearly demonstrate (and hopefully inspire) that no matter how big my pride is, it can’t compete with my love for you even for a second. You are just the way you are.”
You are here. you are enough. Need you. You are. That’s it (sic).”
Hrithik encouraged his sons not to be afraid of failure. He stressed the need to experience all human emotions – pain, joy, loss, connection, loneliness, energy, frustration and intimacy.
“Now create in every way, explore everything – success (definition you decide), aim for success in everything, even in the art of doing nothing. And failure really I hope you have spectacular failures, even strange ones. And feel it all, feel it completely, every human emotion, let it take over you – take some popcorn and look at it with wonder, see how it feels in your body – pain, pleasure, Loss, connection, loneliness, energy, despair, intimacy – there’s a peace at the bottom of it all. Get it (sic),” the actor said.
The 52-year-old advised Rehan and Ridan to pursue the human experience rather than winning or reaching goals. He also stressed the importance of love more than challenges in life.
“Because that’s the only real pursuit. The human experience. Not the meaning. Not the winning. Not the reaching.”
But experience. (That’s the ride you signed up for.) (Don’t remember that was part of the rules.) (You don’t lose anything by having fun.)
(Self development opens up better levels.) (This is me half talking to myself) And if I ever forget and start measuring you – remind me. Love came first (sic),” he concluded.
