HP has finally launched its most powerful AI PCs, the HP EliteBook Ultra and HP OmniBook X. The launch marks the debut of HP in the world of AI laptops. Both the laptops are designed and engineered around the Snapdragon X Elite processor and its dedicated Neural Processing Unit (NPU) 6. As per the company’s claim, the laptops are capable of performing 45 trillion operations per second (TOPS) to run language models and generative AI locally on the device.

HP EliteBook Ultra: The HP EliteBook Ultra is available in Atmospheric Blue colour at HP World Stores and HP Online Stores at a starting price of Rs 1,69,934.

HP OmniBook X: The HP OmniBook X is available in Meteor Silver colour at HP World Stores and HP Online Stores at a starting price of Rs 1,39,999.

HP EliteBook Ultra: Specifications

The HP EliteBook Ultra is powered by the Snapdragon X EliteBook processor, paired with a Qualcomm Hexagon NPU. The laptop features a 14-inch diagonal display with a maximum brightness of 300nits. The company claims that the battery life of the device can last up to 26 hours on a single charge and it also offers fast charging. The device also features dual speakers by Poly Studio with discrete amplifiers and integrated dual array microphones.

The HP OmniBook X is aimed at retail customers, such as creators and freelancers. It is powered by Snapdragon X Elite and runs on Next Gen Windows, Copilot+, Microsoft Home and Student Edition 2021. It has a 14-inch diagonal display and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass NBT.

HP AI Laptops: Key Features

HP AI Companion: The new laptops have built-in HP AI Companion, a personal AI-assistant. With this, users will get to experience a personalized approach using generative AI to analyze and evaluate individual files. Both these laptops are coupled with Copilot+.

Poly Camera Pro: The new Poly Camera Pro uses the NPU to power AI enhancements like Spotlight, Background Blur and Replace, Auto Framing, and more. This helps the CPU preserve battery life.

design: The HP EliteBook Ultra and HP OmniBook X are designed for tech-savvy freelancers. According to the company, these laptops weighing 1.3 kg can deliver up to 26 hours of battery life. Both PCs feature HP’s new AI Helix logo that signifies HP AI, which aims to make PCs even more secure. Both devices feature 50 percent recycled aluminum in the cover and 100 percent sustainably sourced materials for packaging, along with EPEAT Climate+ Gold registration and Energy Star certification.
