Akshay Kumar, directed by Tarun Mansukhani, made a front of Housefull 5, made a good start at the Indian box office. Based on the initial estimates, the film’s early day collection is about 22 crores. It can be taken as a win for Akshay Kumar, who is looking for a solid dramatic hit. Initially, advance booking suggested that the film could struggle to cross Rs 20 crore. But the strong on-day booking has easily pushed that past.

The number of early days of Housefull 5 proves that the houseful is a loyal fan in the franchise. With further holidays, Housefull 5 is ready for a strong performance. The advance booking for Saturday and Sunday looks strong, with an estimate that it pointed to a weekend of about Rs 85 crore. This will be great for a comedy film in today’s market.
Slapstick comedy is difficult to hit the right notes and that is why we have some such comedy these days. The beginners of Housefull 5 show that uncontrolled comedy is an audience for enclosure and the manufacturer should be more fearless in staging such a contingent of such artists.
The real test of the film begins after the weekend. Ticket prices will fall over the week, and Housefull 5 needs to maintain a stable collection to maintain speed. To emerge a hit, the film must have a pure mark of Rs 200 crore in India. The good news is that Sitare land is not equal to Bollywood and it means that comic-campers will enjoy an open run.
For Akshay Kumar, the inauguration of Housefull 5 is a ray of hope. After a string by underperformers, Housefull 5 can be their largest post-pandemic grosser.
