Akshay Kumar’s ‘Housefull 5’ saw a strong vote in theaters over the weekend. The film earned Rs 87 crore on the day 3 (Sunday) and is close to Rs 100 crore. Directed by Tarun Mansukhani, the film promises a whodunnit twist and star-staded comedy.
‘Housefull opened for 5 decent numbers After the box office and ‘Chhawa’ (Rs 31 crore) and ‘Sikander’ (Rs 26 crore) emerged as the third largest Bollywood opener of 2025. After earning Rs 24 crore on the inauguration day, it recorded on Saturday (day 2) for Rs 31 crore, and on Sunday (day 3), according to initial estimates, it earned Rs 32 crore. It brings total tally for Rs 87 crore.

Given the strong word of mouth and reviews, the popularity of the film has only increased in the first weekend. Given the strong response, the film has been designed to touch a mark of Rs 100 crore on Monday.
On Sunday, ‘Housefull 5A’ recorded an overall Hindi show of 39.52 per cent across India, showing in the evening that the highest turnout was at 54.77 per cent. Meanwhile, Housefull 5B saw a nationwide Hindi occupation of 24.49 percent, showing in the evening that 36.40 percent of the peak.
