Honor previously launched its Honor 200 series in China and Europe and the global variants Honor 200 and Honor 200 Pro feature Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 and Snapdragon 8S Gen 3 chipsets respectively. The Indian variant is also expected to feature the same specifications as the global variant. Let’s take a detailed look at what we are expecting.

Honor 200 series specifications

The global variants of the Honor 200 series feature a slim design, measuring just 7.7mm thick. In India, the Honor 200 Pro will be available in a beautiful Ocean Cyan and Classic Black colour, while the standard Honor 200 will be offered in sophisticated Moonlight White and Black. Both models feature a quad-curved display for an immersive viewing experience.

On the front, the Honor 200 Pro has a 6.78-inch quad-curved screen, while the standard model has a slightly smaller 6.7-inch display. The AMOLED screen offers a resolution of 1.5K and a smooth refresh rate of 120Hz, ensuring vibrant and fluid visuals.

The Honor 200 series is powered by Qualcomm’s latest chipsets. The standard Honor 200 is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, while the Honor 200 Pro features the more powerful Snapdragon 8s Gen 3. The series also includes a larger 5,200mAh battery, with the Pro model supporting 100W wired charging and 66W wireless charging.

For photography, Honor has collaborated with renowned Paris-based photography studio, Studio Harcourt, to name the Honor 200 series as ‘The Portrait Master’. The series features a triple-camera setup at the back, consisting of a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 50-megapixel telephoto lens, and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle macro camera. On the front, the smartphone sports a 50-megapixel selfie camera for detailed self-portraits and high-quality video calls.

Honor 200 series will come with AI features

The Honor 14 series, running on MagicOS 8.0 based on Android 200, also includes a range of AI-powered features designed to improve the user experience. A notable feature is MagicLM, an on-device language learning model that facilitates seamless interactions and usability. Additionally, the Magic Portal feature improves user interactions by intuitively understanding messages and guiding users to relevant applications.

Other innovative features include the Magic Ring, which supports multitasking on up to eight devices, enabling seamless network sharing, screen sharing, and file sharing. The Magic Capsule provides quick access to essential functions such as calls and alarms, while the Magic Anywhere Door simplifies file transfers with intuitive drag-and-drop operations. The 3-finger swipe feature allows searching across devices with a single gesture, significantly increasing productivity and convenience.

Honor 200 series availability and price

The Honor 200 and Honor 200 Pro are already listed on Amazon India, where a “Notify Me” option is available for customers wishing to stay updated. While the specific pricing for the Indian market has not been revealed yet, in the European market, the Honor 200 is priced at GBP 499.99 (roughly Rs. 53,500) and the Honor 200 Pro is priced at GBP 699.99 (roughly Rs. 74,800).
