Actor Vijay Deverakonda responded online after a young fan asked why he was not invited to his wedding with Rashmika Mandanna. The child’s message posted on social media immediately gained attention and prompted the actor to respond directly.
The fan asked Deverakonda, “Am I not your fan too? What about us?” Referring to the couple’s wedding, which was attended only by close friends and family. In response, the actor wrote that he would call the child home for lunch and ask him to share his favorite food and sweets so that they can be prepared.

Deverakonda responded to the fan in Telugu, addressing him lovingly and extending an invitation for a meal.
The actor wrote in his comment, “Dear child, I will call you home for lunch. Tell me your favorite food and dessert. We will cook it at home and eat it happily.”

When did Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna get married?
Deverakonda and Mandanna got married on February 26 in a ceremony in Udaipur in the presence of family members and close friends. The couple had earlier held a private engagement in October last year.
He later hosted a reception in Hyderabad on 4 March. Mandanna wore a red and gold saree with traditional jewelery and sindoor, while Deverakonda was seen in a cream kurta and dhoti.
How did the couple celebrate with fans across India?
After their marriage, the couple arranged to distribute sweets in several cities in India. In a note shared with Pahal, he said that trucks carrying sweets would be sent to several areas to commemorate his wedding on March 1.
The sweets were distributed across many places including Delhi, Bihar, Telangana, Chandigarh, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
Annadanam, or offering of food, was also organized in temples in many states.
At the Hyderabad reception, Deverakonda told photographers that he and Mandanna hoped that the ceremony would take place soon. “Today, we hope to end this festival and go underground. Cool,” he said, eliciting laughter among the attendees.
