On May 25, 2025, Paresh Rawal took over his X (East Twitter) and said, “My lawyer, Amet Naik has sent a proper response to my correct termination and exit. Once they read my response, all issues will be kept to rest.” Soon after, his legal team released his first statement while talking about the issue.
Paresh Rawal’s team told IANS, “It is believed that they did not give the story, screenplay, and did not even give a draft of a long -time agreement, which was fundamental to our customer’s engagement. In their absence and also that Mr. Nadiadla, with the producer of original films, to surprise our customer.”
The film’s makers sued the senior star for Rs 25 crore, called it a “unprofessional attitude”, Akshay Kumar’s production house said in a statement that the sudden exit of Rawal had caused serious financial loss to the company. Soon after, Paresh returned his signature fee of Rs 11 lakh, including an additional 15 percent interest.
Now, in his statement, Rawal’s team responded to the claims of producers (including Akshay Kumar). The lawyers claimed that they accepted the money but later sent a “unstable notice” to the OMG actor.
He shared, “He first accepted the money, but later unfortunately sent an unstable notice to our customer when there was nothing intentionally and there was no story and cloud on the title: So, there can never be any loss. I hope they will accept this reality and move beyond our customer (SIC).”
While Akshay was to act in the third installment of Hera Ferry Franchise with Sunil Shetty, he was also producing it.
