Hema Malini honors Dharmendra’s evergreen appeal in special video tribute

Actor-politician Hema Malini honored her late husband Dharmendra’s legacy with a special collage video of his films and family moments, made for prayer meetings in Delhi and Mathura. The tribute highlighted his “timeless appeal” and also included high praise for late actor Dilip Kumar.

Actor-politician Hema Malini paid a special tribute to the legacy of her late husband, actor Dharmendra by sharing a collage video made of his films and old family moments. He revealed that this visual tribute was made for two prayer meetings “held in Delhi and Mathura”.

The video is a compilation of films from Dharmendra’s early career to Our And Rocky and Rani’s love story Was also shared. Talking about Dharmendra at an award function in the video, late actor Dilip Kumar says, “When I saw religion for the first time, I felt a great excitement in my heart that what would have happened if Allah had made me like this. (When I saw Dharmendra for the first time, I thought to myself, what if God made me like him).” An embarrassed Dharmendra can be seen touching Dilip Kumar’s feet while Saira Banu smiles behind him.

In one of his clips, Dharmendra’s voice says, “Life is just like the fibers of ice…it stops for a moment and then melts…but the longer it lasts, it looks very beautiful…but it has to go at any cost. (Life is like ice…it lasts for a while and then melts…but it looks beautiful as long as it lasts…but no matter what, it has to end.)

The video contains these scenes Dharam Veer, Dream girl, cinder, Mad Crazy Mad, Om Shanti Om, quietly quietly And many other iconic classics of Dharmendra. It also had family photos from the wedding of Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol and Esha Deol, childhood photos of their children including Ahana Deol.

The late actor’s last film was Agastya Nanda’s war-drama twenty-one (2025), set for theatrical release on December 5, 2025.
