The firm’s revenue from operations rose nearly 14% YoY during Q1 FY27 to Rs. 1,099.72 crore in Q1 FY26 as against Rs. 968.15 crores. Total revenue during the quarter under review grew by over 13% YoY to Rs. 1,363 crore, while total expenditure increased by around 27% year-on-year to Rs. 273.54 crores.
HDFC AMC has assets under management (AUM) of Rs. 9.32 lakh crore, with QAAUM growing nearly 13% YoY to Rs. 9.35 lakh crores. It has a market share of 11.2% in QAAUM of the mutual fund industry.
QAAUM in actively managed equity-oriented funds excluding index funds with a market share of 12.8% for the quarter ended June 30, 2026 i.e. Equity Oriented QAAUM stood at Rs. 5.74 lakh crore was. AMC said it is one of the largest actively managed equity-oriented mutual fund managers in the country.
The ratio of equity to non-equity oriented QAAUM is 66:34 compared to the industry ratio of 57:43 in Q1 of FY27. As of June 30, 2026, the total number of live accounts was 31.1 million. The number of unique customers identified by PAN was recorded at 17.1 million at the end of the quarter under review, compared to 61.9 million for the industry, a penetration of 28%.

HDFC AMC share price
Shares of HDFC AMC jumped over 2% on the NSE after the results were announced to Rs. It closed at 2,724. The stock is up more than 2% in a week and nearly 4% in a month. Overall, the stock is up about 3% so far in 2026.
Over the long term, the company’s shares have returned more than 3% in one year, 129% in three years and 77% in five years. The market capitalization of the company is around Rs. 1.17 lakh crores.
