Have to repay a loan of Rs 1.2 crore without doing any work: ‘Tarak Mehta’ fame Gurcharan said on ‘failure’
‘Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma’ fame actor Gurcharan Singh talked about his financial condition. He said that he has no work and has to take huge loans from banks and friends.
Actor Gurcharan Singh is looking for work in the industry. In a recent interview, he revealed that he has several big loans on him but due to lack of opportunities, he is unable to think about the future.
The actor was in the news for going missing a few months ago. However, he later said that he went on a spiritual journey without telling anyone. Singh spoke to Siddharth Kannan in an interview and said that he wants to take care of his parents and repay his debts, but he has no means to do so. “I have been in Mumbai for a month looking for work. I feel people love me, and they want to see me. I also want to earn money to manage my expenses, take care of my mother and repay my debts. I want to do some good work and start my second innings,” he said.
Singh said he has been taking personal loans from friends, which he uses to pay his bank EMIs. “I need money as I have to pay EMIs and credit card bills. I still have to ask for money and there are some good people who lend me money, but my debt keeps mounting. I want to work as I also want to take care of my aging parents,” he said.
The actor, who plays Sodhi in Sab TV’s popular show ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’, revealed that he has stopped eating. Singh said that he feels depressed and has been feeling like this for the last few years. “I have stopped eating for the last 34 days. I am on a liquid diet, like I drink milk, Tea (Tea) and coconut water. All I have seen in the last four years is failure. I tried different things, business and everything, but everything failed. Now I am tired, and I must earn some money now,” he said.
Gurcharan Singh talked about the actual amount of money he has. He said, “I have a lot of debt. I have to repay a loan of Rs 60 lakh to banks and credit card companies. Apart from this, some of my good acquaintances have lent me money and I have to repay the same amount to them. In total, my debt is around Rs 1.2 crore.”
The actor is trying to find new opportunities in the industry. Singh has been actively talking about doing everything possible to bring about a positive change in his life.
