The theatrical run of Happy Patel, starring Vir Das in the lead role, is almost over. The detective comedy drama has not done anything special this week. Opened with Rs. 1.10 crore, Happy Patel: Dangerous Detective made Rs. Earned 4.80 crores in the first week. Later it clashed with Sunny Deol border 2 In the second week, which almost drove it out of the theatres.
The film is estimated to complete its second week tomorrow and collect Rs. 50 lakhs to tally. This will also mark its finale at the Indian box office. Backed by Aamir Khan Productions, Happy Patel: Dangerous Detective Could not impress the audience much. Had the film received a positive response, the film might have performed slightly better.
The film starring Vir Das proved to be a disappointment at the box office. Now all eyes are on its digital debut.
