Halle Berry and Glenn Close to star in Ryan Murphy’s upcoming legal drama? What the report says

Halle Berry and Glenn Close are teaming up with Kim Kardashian on Hulu’s new legal drama All’s Fair. The show, which was originally conceived by Ryan Murphy to premiere in December 2023, is set in an all-woman law agency in Los Angeles. Although their exact roles have been kept secret, both Berry and Close will serve as executive producers of the series alongside Kardashian.

Glenn is making a return to television legal drama with this project. She is best known for playing Patty Hewes, a fiery lawyer on FX’s Damages. Her performance earned her two Emmy Awards and a Golden Globe.

In total, Close has received 14 Emmy Awards and eight Academy Award nominations. These include notable roles in films such as The World According to Garp, Dangerous Liaisons, and Fatal Attraction. Through her Trillium Productions company banner, she will produce All’s Fair.

Halle Berry’s rare TV role

For Halle Berry, this is one of the rare occasions where she gets the chance to play a regular TV role; most recently she was featured on CBS’s Extant. This made her the first woman of color to receive an Oscar Best Actress statuette after the release of Monster’s Ball.

In addition, she has won an Emmy and a Golden Globe for playing Dorothy Dandridge on screen. In her filmography, you can see the X-Men saga Die Another Day and even Jungle Fever.

Star-studded production team

All’s Fair is written and directed by Ryan Murphy himself, who recently signed a Disney deal, making it his first film since leaving Fox for good. Other executive producers are Jon Robin Baitz, Joe Bacon, Jamie Pacino, Laura Greene and Richard Levin.

Apart from Kris Jenner, Alexis Martin Woodall, Eric Kovtun, Scott Robertson and Holly Jeter are also the producers of this show. This series is produced by 20th Television in association with Ryan Murphy Television.

All’s Fair has a stellar cast and crew that promise to make it a great addition to Hulu’s offering.
