Producer Guneet Monga recently revealed that over 100 actors auditioned for the role of Raghav Juyal in Karan Johar and Monga’s upcoming film Kill. However, Juyal stood out due to his ability to blend dangerous and comical elements together.

Monga said in a statement, “We held 100 auditions and Raghav was the best fit for us. We were looking for someone who could bring an unusual mix of menace and humour to the role, a character that could fascinate and terrify the audience at the same time.”

Monga added, “Raghav Juyal’s audition was exceptional; he not only embraced the complexity of the character, but also added his own unique style to it. He is the perfect fit for this role in ‘Kill’, and we look forward to the audiences seeing his performance. Raghav’s performance has brilliantly captured the essence of his character, blending humour with a sense of menace. His portrayal will undoubtedly remind audiences of the iconic Joker, but with a distinct twist that is entirely his own.”

Directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat, the film also stars Lakshya, Ashish Vidyarthi and Tanya Maniktala in pivotal roles. Kill will release in theatres on July 5.
