Naga Chaitanya and Shobhita got married in a traditional Telugu Hindu ceremony on December 4, 2024, at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad.
The place holds special significance for the Akkineni family, which was founded by Chaitanya’s grandfather Akkineni Nageswara Rao. Many prominent names from the Telugu film industry including Allu Arjun, Ram Charan, Mahesh Babu and SS Rajamouli attended the wedding.
Before marrying Shobhita, Naga Chaitanya was married to Samantha Ruth Prabhu. The former couple announced their separation in October 2021 after four years of marriage. In a joint statement at the time, they said they had decided to separate as husband and wife after much consideration, while continuing the friendship they have built over the years.

Meanwhile, Chaitanya has also been in the news over a petition filed before the Delhi High Court, seeking action against allegedly defamatory content and false reports related to his past relationship with Samantha.
According to his lawyer, the court recently issued an interim injunction regarding unauthorized use of the actor’s name, image and video and also issued notices to some websites. The detailed order was not available at the time of reporting.
