Bollywood actor Govinda’s wife Sunita Ahuja recently shared an incident where a minister’s daughter, who was a big fan of the actor, disguised herself as a maid and stayed at their house for 20 days. Govinda had a lot of fans in the 1990s.

On the podcast, Timeout with AnkitSunita Ahuja explained the incident in detail. She said, “There was a fan who pretended to be a housemaid and she stayed with us for about 20-22 days. I thought she was from a well-off family. I told my mother-in-law that she did not know how to wash utensils or clean the house. Eventually, we found out that she was a minister’s daughter and a Govinda fan.”

Sunita said, “I was young at that time, but I got suspicious. She would stay up late at night and wait for Govinda. I was stunned. Finally, I got her background checked. Then she cried and confessed that she was a Govinda fan. Then her father came and brought four cars with him. I think she worked with us for about 20 days. Such was her fan following.”

Govinda has appeared in over 165 Hindi films and is a renowned actor, comedian, dancer, singer and politician. His first film was Ilzaam, which was released in theatres in 1986. In 1987, he married Sunita and has two children, Yashvardhan Ahuja and Tina Ahuja.
