Govinda wears hair patch: Wife Sunita asked, ‘Many heroes do this, then why do they hide?’
Sunita Ahuja revealed that Govinda now uses hair patches and said that there is nothing unusual in it, as many actors rely on similar solutions.
Sunita Ahuja revealed about her husband Govinda’s appearance and said that the actor now uses hair patches. Recalling her early days, Sunita described the actor as exceptionally handsome. She also stressed that there should be no stigma surrounding the use of hair patches, saying it is a common practice in the entertainment industry.

“He still looks good, but he had real hair back then. Now he wears patches,” she said.
When the host laughed at her comment, Sunita defended the use of hair patches and said it was nothing to be ashamed of.
He said, “What’s there to hide it? Many heroes do that. Both men and women use patches.”
In another interview on Abhishek Vyas’ YouTube channel, Sunita shared a personal perspective on her marriage. She said that she appreciated Govinda more as a son rather than a husband, pointing out that he spent most of his life focused on providing for his family rather than enjoying life for himself.
“I will say it again. Govinda is a good son, a good brother. But as a husband, what do I want… I love going to parties, going for dinners, going on holidays, but he became so busy supporting his family that he never enjoyed it. He is 60, but he has never lived for himself.”
Sunita said that she is sad that despite being such a big superstar, Govinda has taken out very little time to enjoy his life. She reiterated that she would prefer a son like him rather than a husband, and said that after four decades of being together, there is no point dwelling on regrets or imagining a different life.
Last year, Sunita had also publicly accused Govinda of having extramarital affairs. Recently reacting to the allegations, the actor dismissed them as part of a larger conspiracy against him.
talking to ANIGovinda said that he was forced to raise the issue as remaining silent was creating a misleading impression about him.
He said, “I have been noticing lately that sometimes when we don’t speak up, we either appear weak or as if we are the problem. So today, I am responding. I was told that people in my family may be unwittingly involved and may not realize that they are being used in the early stages of a larger conspiracy.”
Govinda and Sunita have been married since 1987 and are the parents of Tina and Yashvardhan. While Tina made her Bollywood debut with Second Hand Husband in 2015, Yashvardhan is preparing for his acting debut.
