Police sources said that actors Mitchell Trechenberg, Gossip Girl and Buffy The Vampire Slair were killed at the age of 39 years. His death is not being investigated as a suspect.

Trechenberg gained fame as a child star in Pete and Pete Adventures and later acted in Harriet the Spy (1996). He was widely identified for her roles as Buffy the Vampire Slair and Don Summers at Gossip Girl at Georgina Sparks.

In 2021, he made allegations against Buffy producer Jose Whadan, claiming that he was physically derogatory during filming. He wrote in an Instagram post that there was a “rule” preventing Whadan from being alone in a room on the set.

Trechenberg had spoken about controlling childhood trauma first.
