In May last year, Google started its Toned-Down version of Pixel 8A, Flagship Pixel Phone. Pixel 8A packed a punch with features such as 6.1-inch OLED Actua display, a tensor G3 chipset and a dual-camera setup with 64-megapixel main sensors. Now, this is the time for its successor, and according to reports, Google is likely to launch the new Pixel 9A tomorrow, which is on March 19.

While Google has not yet confirmed the date or details, leaks and rumors are giving a picture of what to expect from the new Pixel. And the card has better displays, next-gene processors and better cameras and batteries. Pixel 9A is expected to come up with a large display

Pixel 8A has a 6.1 -inch OLED actua display with 120Hz refresh rate, HDR support and 2000 NIT peak shine. While this device already provides an impressive screen, it has relatively thick bezels. Now, Pixel 9A is expected to come up with a little jazzier display.

Increase in screen size can also mean small bezels, which provides a large screen for better experience in media consumption, gaming and multitasking. Performance is also said to offer vibrant colors and deep blacks compared to its predecessor.

Additionally, the use of Gorilla Glass 3 suggests that the screen will offer better durability, making the device more resistant to scratch and casual drops.

Cleaner design

With Pixel 8A, Google introduced a smooth design with a matte-finish back panel for its cheap pixels. The 8A has a polish aluminum frame and a specific camera bar. However, Pixel 9A is rumored to obtain a more sophisticated design, which offers a cleaner look to suit the design of the Flagship Pixel 9 series.

According to several leaked images, the camera of Pixel 9A will be more smoothly mixed in the bar back panel, providing a more spontaneous appearance. The 9A is expected to facilitate round edges and visible antenna lines similar to the design language of Pixel 9 and 9 Pro.

In addition, Pixel 9A is rumored to come up with an IP68 rating, an upgrade on the IP67 rating of Pixel 8A, for better resistance to dust and water, it becomes more durable in the external environment.

Upgrade Tensor G4 Chipset

One of the most important upgrades in Pixel 9A is expected to be its processor. Pixel 8A is powered by Google’s tensor G3 chipset, which provides decent performance. However, Pixel 9A is rumored for the facility of the next generation tensor G4 chipset, the same chipset that is also inside the more expensive Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro.

Tenser G4 is expected to improve processing power, energy efficiency and AI-operated features. This means that Pixel 9A will offer users to launch raw app, smooth multitasking and better gaming performance compared to their predecessors.

Tensor G4 will also bring support for the latest AI features, which Google has integrated into its Pixel 9 series. This means that Google will allow its Pixel 9A users to taste the latest AI features in comparatively low pricing.
