And now that it’s been almost a month since the official launch, we can expect more speculations and rumours about the Pixel 9 series in the near future. Now, the pricing details of these devices in Europe have surfaced, giving us a glimpse of what consumers can expect.

The standard Pixel 9 is expected to come in four different colours: Obsidian (black), Porcelain (white), Cosmo (pink colour) and Mojito (light green). The Pixel 9 is priced at €899 (roughly Rs. 80,000) for the 128GB variant and €999 (roughly Rs. 88,700) for the 256GB variant. This marks a €100 increase over the Pixel 8, which was priced at €799 for the base model.

The Pixel 9 Pro is expected to be available in four colours: Obsidian, Porcelain, Hazel (Sage Green) and Pink. Storage options and their expected prices are €1,099 (roughly Rs. 97,500) for 128GB, €1,199 (roughly Rs. 1,06,400) for 256GB, and €1,329 (roughly Rs. 1,18,000) for 512GB. The Pixel 9 Pro is touted as a premium offering with additional camera features over the standard Pixel 9.

For those looking for an even bigger device, the Pixel 9 Pro XL is also expected to be available with the same internal specifications as the Pixel 9 Pro but a bigger screen.

Pricing details could be €1,199 (roughly Rs. 1,06,400) for 128GB, €1,299 (roughly Rs. 1,15,300) for 256GB, €1,429 (roughly Rs. 1,26,900) for 512GB, and €1,689 (roughly Rs. 1,50,000) for the 1TB model. The 1TB variant is said to be exclusive to Obsidian, while the other models will be available in additional colours.

The Pixel 9 Pro Fold is also expected to be launched during this event, which is the successor to the original Pixel Fold. This phone may be available in Obsidian and Porcelain color options. The likely price of this foldable device is €1,899 (approximately Rs 1,68,900) for the 256 GB model and €2,029 (approximately Rs 1,80,500) for the 512 GB model.

These prices are as per a report by a French publication called Dealabs and will likely apply to all of Europe. It is important to note that these prices in Euros may vary slightly due to varying VAT levels across Europe. Additionally, the Indian prices of the devices may vary significantly. However, the European prices give us an idea of what we can expect from the Pixel 9 series in terms of pricing.

So far it seemed like the Pixel 8 was more affordable, with its 128 GB model costing €100 less than the Pixel 9. The Pixel 9 Pro’s base model costs the same as the Pixel 8 Pro, but higher storage options see a slight increase. The Pixel 9 Pro XL is noticeably more expensive, at least €100 more than its predecessor.
