This means that you will now have less access to take pictures or videos than you did a few days ago. Both companies cite high demand and rising GPU costs for this change.

What changes did free access to Gemini 3 Pro bring?

The Gemini 3 Pro initially matched its predecessor, the Gemini 2.5 Pro, with five free signals per day and up to three image generations via Nano Banana Pro. However, the latest update has replaced this with what Google describes as “Basic access – daily limits may change frequently.” Image creation is now limited to two free users per day.

For users on the Google AI plan, the experience remains unchanged, with Thinking Models getting 100 prompts per day for Google AI Pro and 500 prompts for Google AI Ultra.

Now how many free images can users generate per day with Nano Banana Pro?

Free users can now generate two images per day with Nano Banana Pro. On the other hand, Google AI Pro customers get 100 images per day, Google AI Ultra users get 1,000 images each day.

What is the new daily limit of Sora 2 video generation for free users?

OpenAI has limited free users of its AI video generator Sora2 to only six video generations per day. Bill Peebles, head of Sora at OpenAI, explained the move on social media: “Our GPUs are melting, and we want to let as many people as possible access Sora!” And “We are limiting usage to 6 generations per day for free users.”

In October this year, the company restricted free access to Sora to 30 generations per day. However you can purchase additional video tokens per 10 generations at $4 (approximately Rs 358). The 30-video daily limit continues for ChatGPT Plus subscribers, with ChatGPT Pro users getting 100 creations per day.
