Goodbye, my friend: Rajinikanth remembers Dharmendra’s golden heart in tribute
Rajinikanth paid an emotional tribute to Dharmendra, remembering his “golden heart” and their decades-long friendship, after the legendary actor passed away in Mumbai at the age of 89.

Dharmendra and Rajinikanth had worked together in some films, including angels (1991) and who will do justice (1984). Dharmendra also did a cameo in the 1983 film blind lawIn which Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan were also there along with Hema Malini.

Dharmendra, 89, was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital earlier this month due to respiratory problems. He was discharged from the hospital on 12 November, after which he was kept under doctor’s supervision at his home.
Dharmendra, famous as the He-Man of Bollywood, has left behind Notable cinematic legacy Spanning over six decades. His last appearance on screen will be in ‘Ikkis’, which will release on December 25.
Dharmendra is survived by his wives, Prakash Kaur and Hema Malini, and six children – actors Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Esha Deol and Ahana Deol, Ajita and Vijeta.
He will turn 90 on December 8.
