The promo of the second single ‘Chinna Chinna Kangal’ from ‘GOAT’ was released on June 21. The track is special as it features the AI-generated voice of late singer Bhavatharini.

Ahead of the release of Thalapathy Vijay’s much-awaited song ‘Greatest of All Time’ (GOAT), the makers of the film released the promo of its second single on June 21. Titled ‘Chinna Chinna Kangal’, the track is a special tribute to late singer Bhavatharini and features her AI-generated voice. The full song will be released on June 22 on the occasion of Vijay’s 50th birthday.

‘GOAT’ director Venkat Prabhu shared the promo on his official X handle and wrote, “A song that is very close to our hearts will be yours tomorrow!!! Here’s the Chinna promo of a big-hearted song. Vocals by @actorvijay sir and #Bhavatharini.”

Let us tell you that Bhavatarini died in January this year after battling liver cancer.

The first track of ‘GOAT’ is ‘Whistle Podu’. Along with Thalapathy, the music video also features Prabhu Deva and Prashanth. The song is sung by Vijay and the lyrics are written by Madhavan Karky.

‘The Greatest of All Time’ (GOAT), which has also been shot in parts of Russia, will reportedly have Thalapathy Vijay playing two roles – a hero and a villain.

An ensemble cast including Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, Sneha, Ajmal Ameer, Vaibhav, Laila, Mohan, Arvind Akash and Ajay Raj will play the hero and villain. Produced by AGS Entertainment, ‘Goat’ is bankrolled by Kalpana S Aghoram, Kalpana S Ganesh and Kalpana S Suresh on a big budget. The film’s music is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, cinematography is by Siddharth Nuni and editing is done by Venkat Rajan.

The film will hit theatres on September 5, 2024.
