Actor Vishal has praised Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay after he announced this in his first order after assuming office 717 liquor shops closed Located within 500 meters of temples, schools and bus stands across the state. Vijay’s first major decision in office after his posting attracted the attention of entire Tamil Nadu.

Vishal praised CM Vijay’s first order

Sharing a video message for Vijay on X, Vishal wrote, “Congratulations to you, salute to you. Dear Chief Minister Joseph Vijay Avargal. Thank you for the announcement of closure of 717 liquor shops, especially the ones near schools. What a step. A lot of girl students are facing harassment, especially in RK Nagar where a student was complaining that she gets stressed crossing the Tasmac store and reaching home every day.”

She captioned the video message for Vijay, “He and many among the general public will appreciate you and your decision. This decision of our CM will bring a smile on the faces of many people including me. May God bless you dearest #Vijay. #ThalapathyVijay #CMJosephVijay. I salute you and your government today.”

In the same post, Vishal said that many girls are facing harassment due to TASMAC (Tamil Nadu State Marketing Corporation Limited) stores near schools. He further said, “God bless you dear #Vijay. #ThalapatiVijay #CMJosephVijay. I salute you and your government today.”

How did Vijay come to power?

Vijay took oath as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu on Sunday after a week-long political drama following the assembly election results. He contested the state elections as the leader of his party TVK, which won 108 of the 234 seats in the state.

However, because of the party, Vijay had to wait to form the government. 10 seats less than majority Mark. The TVK eventually came to power with the support of the Congress, two left parties and a small Tamil party, the Viduthalai Chiruthigal Katchi (VCK).
