As Avengers: Doomsday And Dune: Part 3 Set to be released on December 18, 2026, Downey Jr. coined the term to reflect the upcoming box office clash he is aiming for. He met Chalamet in Los Angeles on Wednesday for a special screening of Marty Supreme. A clip of the event was shared by a fan page of Chalamet.
Speaking at the question-and-answer session, Downey Jr. said, “We both have movies coming out on December 18, and we decided to call it ‘Dunesday.’ We’ll see if we can still be friends until then.”
The latest teaser for Avengers: Doomsday shows a crossover between the two Fantastic Four: First Steps Black Panther characters and the Wakandians. The teaser features Letitia Wright as Shuri who is carrying out her duties to serve the kingdom of Wakanda alongside Winston Duke aka M’Baku and Tenoch Huerta Meza aka Namor. The video ends with Duke shaking hands with Ben Grimm, aka The Thing, played by Ebon Moss-Bachrach.
