Game Changer Box Office Collection Day 11: Ram Charan’s film nears business end; earning less than 1 crore

Game Changer, directed by Shankar Shanmughan and starring Ram Charan, Kiara Advani and SJ Surya, has failed at the box office. The political action drama is now taking its last breaths in theatres.

Game Changer collapses at less than Rs 1 crore on 11th day

Produced by Dil Raju under Sri Venkateswara Creations, Game Changer could not even earn more than Rs 1 crore on its 11th day. The big budget tentpole film is going to hit the theaters soon. The worldwide gross collection of Game Changer will be less than Rs 200 crore. This is a disappointing figure for such a large-scale project and the names associated with it.

The Hindi version of Game Changer is likely to gross Rs 39 crore globally by the end of its theatrical run.

Be it Hindi, Telugu or foreign, the game changer did not work anywhere. After a good start, it crashed on its first Monday. Later, the film started making waves at the box office and is now gearing up for a dramatic ending with the arrival of Akshay Kumar’s Sky Force this weekend.

Average word-of-mouth turns business into a game changer

The film failed to generate any curiosity among the audience with its promotional qualities. Additionally, it faced average word-of-mouth interaction among viewers. A large section found it dated which became one of the biggest hindrances to its box office performance.

Had it received a positive reception, things might have been different. This is the second back-to-back major disaster for Shankar, once counted among the most successful filmmakers.
