Ahsaas Channa, who started her career as a child artiste with the 2004 film Vastu Shastra, has appeared in several films such as Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, My Friend Ganesha and Phoonk. Ahsaas recently revealed that her mother, actress Kulbir Kaur, once rejected a guy who asked the Kota Factory actress out on a date.
During an exclusive conversation with Pinkvilla, Ahsaas Channa, who shares a very close bond with her mother Kulbir, revealed that she can discuss anything with her. Ahsaas revealed that a few days ago, a boy asked her out on a date.
When asked if she feels any hesitation in discussing topics like sex, menstruation or relationships with her mother, Ahsaas said, “Yes! (Yes) 100 per cent. Last week a guy asked me out on a date and I told him.”
The Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna actress used her hand gestures to enact how she showed the boy’s picture to her mother. “Mummy this boy you know has invited me for dinner,” she recalled.
Referring to her mother’s reaction, the Kota Factory actress said, “No! Not this, don’t go with this. You can do better.”

Ahsaas Channa further said that the mother-daughter duo has always been there for each other. Even though her mother Kulbir also used to work, she would come to Ahsaas’ sets and they both used to spend quality time together.
Elaborating on their relationship, the Hostel Days actress credited her mother, who picked her up from school, took her to auditions and took her to the sets.
Talking about work, Ahsaas Channa is ruling the OTT space with series like Girls Hostel, Hostel Days, The Interns, Jugaadistan, Modern Love Mumbai and others. Ahsaas also appeared in Prajakta Koli and Rohit Saraf’s Mismatched Season 2.
Ahsaas’ popular web series is Kota Factory. She has been a part of the TVF series since the first season. Kota Factory Season 3 was released on June 20 this year.
Kulbir Kaur is a popular face of the television industry. She has worked in films like Veer-Zaara, Hindi Medium and Kesari.
