Foot: Xiaomi 15 and 15 Ultra Advent, Nothing Phone (3A) Launch, New iPads also

With MWC kicking, it was an exciting week. Xiaomi 15 and 15 Ultra brought to Europe. Meanwhile, nothing unveiled its (3A) series of the phone.

In Cupertino, it was the “air” week because Apple declared new ipads and macbooks with upgraded chipsets. Note that the new Apple devices are on pre-order and will be available from March 12 (Wednesday).

Xiaomi 15 Ultra impressed in our review (also see video reviews) and a solid claim to be the best camera flagship of 2025. It is expensive, though. Fortunately, Amazon is offering an £ 130 voucher and throwing a free Redmi Watch 5.

Xiaomi 15 may have a shortage of 1 “main sensor and impressive 200MP periscope, but it is one of the more capable camera phones of its size (this is slightly larger than a Galaxy S25 and a Pixel 9 Pro is about the same size).

Before going to the head of 2025, first decided to take out anything more affordable a-phone. In fact, nothing (3A) Pro will not be out yet for a few more days, so we will leave for the next week.

For some reason Amazon has nothing (3A) listed on pre-order, even if it should be already on sale. Anyway, you can upgrade the base 8/128GB unit for £ 330 to 12/256GB variants for £ 50.

The outgoing nothing phone (2A) has its own last storm and is cheaper than (3A) – by £ 100, if you are looking at the 256GB model. For example (3A) (3A) 50MP is meaningful improvements like 50 mm (2x) portrait lens. Snapdragon 7S General 3 chipset is sharp, although not by a huge margin.

Proceeding on Apple, Vanilla iPad 2025 was upgraded to the Apple A16 chip, which makes it the only new iPad without Apple Intelligence support (2024 Mini A17 Pro uses the A17 Pro chipset).

At least Apple hit the base storage up to 128GB, which is tolerant (64GB was difficult and upgrading took you to a price 256GB model). It has been three years since the Vanilla iPad is upgraded and when we appreciate additional performance and storage, we would have some additional – AI, 120Hz display, anything appreciated.

If you are going to remember Apple Intelligence, you can only catch 2022 iPad. We will not recommend the 64GB model, but the 256GB version is £ 50 cheaper than the new model. Apart from chipset, there is not much difference between 2022 and 2025 tablets, but £ 50 is not very large savings – you are probably better with new.

The iPad Air was first upgraded with the M2 chip, now they have moved to the M3 chip. It is the only upgrade for 2025 iPad Air 11 “and 13”. Apple claims that these are double the old M1-based air, so the company is trying to woo the owners of the 2022 model.
