FIR against actress Celina Jaitley’s husband on charges of domestic violence
Celina Jaitley’s legal battle with husband Peter Haag intensified after Mumbai Police initiated criminal proceedings against him based on her complaint. The actor had previously accused Haag of domestic violence, alleging that he was denied access to his children in Austria.

Actress Celina Jaitley has filed a complaint against her husband, Austrian national Peter Haag, following which the Mumbai Police has registered an FIR under several sections of the Indian Justice Code, 2023.
The case pertains to allegations of cruelty, bodily harm, criminal intimidation and continuous harassment and the authorities have reportedly issued a Look Out Circular (LOC) against Haag due to his alleged non-cooperation in the investigation.

According to the complaint filed by actor and former Miss India and Miss Universe runner-up Jaitley, criminal proceedings have now been initiated against Haag along with an ongoing case under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005.
The FIR has reportedly been registered under sections 85, 115(2), 351(2) and 352 of the Indian Justice Code, 2023. Authorities are said to have escalated the matter after Haigh allegedly failed to cooperate with the investigative process.
Earlier in November 2025, Celina Jaitley had filed a case against her husband Peter Haag under the Domestic Violence Act, alleging that he had continuously subjected her to domestic violence.
according to PTIJaitley also sought a compensation of Rs 50 crore from Hague along with a monthly maintenance amount of Rs 10 lakh.
The petition further alleges that Haag has blocked her access to her children, who are currently in her custody in Austria. Jaitley has reportedly sought a custody order directing him to provide her with uninterrupted virtual and telephonic access to the children.
