Filmmaker Prashanth Neel was ‘a little disappointed’ with Salaar: Will make up for it
Salaar director Prashanth Neel expressed a bit of disappointment about his 2023 film, especially after the success of KGF 2. However, he is determined to exceed expectations with Salaar 2, which he believes will be one of his best works.
Filmmaker Prashanth Neel talks about the box office performance of his December 2023 release Salaar. In an interview, Neil mentioned how he was “a little disappointed” with the film, especially after enjoying the massive success of Yash’s KGF 2. The filmmaker mentioned that he is confident of making up for it with Salaar 2. The film starred Prabhas and stars Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead role.

He further shared, “Subconsciously, I was a little satisfied with the arrival of KGF 2. But ever since it happened, I decided to make Salaar 2 one of my best films.”
Sharing an update on Salaar 2, Neil said, “The writing I have done in the film is probably one of my best works. I make up for it more than I could ever imagine and more than the audience can imagine.
