A police complaint has been filed against Bollywood filmmaker Farah Khan for his comments on Holi, allegedly damaging religious sentiments. The complaint was filed by Vikash Fatta, known as Hindustani Bhau.

Bollywood filmmaker and choreographer Farah Khan is facing legal action after a criminal complaint filed against him for allegedly making aggressive comments about the Hindu festival of Holi. The complaint is also known as Hindustani Bhau through his lawyer Ali Kashif Khan Deshmukh, also known as Hindustani Bhau.

The complaint was lodged at Khar police station, with a statement made against Khan on a statement made during an episode by Celebrity MasterShef on 20 February.

Fattak alleged that Khan referred to Holi as “a festival for Chhapris”, a word derogatory. He said that his remarks hurt the people of the broad Hindu community along with his religious sentiments.

The complaint further said that Khan’s statement has not only angered personal religious beliefs, but has also created a crisis within the Hindu community. As a result, an FIR has been lodged against him under sections 196, 299, 302 and 353 of the Indian Penal Code.

Farah Khan, who is currently a judge on Celebrity MasterShef, made a comment about Holi, which has widely criticized online. He allegedly said, “Holi is a favorite festival of all the people.” The term “imprint” is often considered a racist slurler, and his statement is widely condemned on social media.

A video clip has been broadcast online from the show, many social media users called her comment aggressive. Many have demanded an apology from Khan for their remarks.
