Fahadh Faasil is in talks to play an important role in Rajinikanth’s ‘Coolie’
Fahadh Faasil is reportedly in talks to play one of the lead roles in Rajinikanth’s ‘Coolie’ directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The two are also sharing screen space in director TJ Gnanavel’s ‘Vettaiyaan’.
Fahadh Faasil will be sharing screen space with superstar Rajinikanth in director TJ Gnanavel’s film ‘Vettaiyaan’. Now, he is in the news after reports of him working with Rajinikanth once again in director Lokesh Kanagaraj’s ‘Coolie’. Sources close to India Today have confirmed that the team has begun talks with Fahadh Faasil for the film.
The ‘Mamanan’ actor is busy with several projects. It remains to be seen whether Fahadh will work for ‘Coolie’ or not. Lokesh Kanagaraj’s ‘Coolie’ went on the floors in the first week of July.
If Fahadh Faasil agrees, Sun Pictures will soon announce the official cast and crew.
Talking about work, Fahadh Faasil will next be seen in Rajinikanth’s ‘Vettaiyaan’ and Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa: The Rule’. Apart from this, he also has the Tamil film ‘Maaresan’ and three Malayalam films – ‘Odum Kuthira Chadum Kuthira’, ‘Bougainvillea’ and ‘Don’t Trouble the Trouble’.
The shooting of ‘Coolie’ began in Hyderabad last week. Shruti Haasan confirmed that she is a part of ‘Coolie’ by sharing an Instagram story. She wrote, “Day 1 #Coolie (sic)” and later deleted it. Similarly, Reba Monica John also confirmed that she is shooting at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad.
