Jungfraujoch in Switzerland is a destination like no other. On one side, it overlooks the Swiss plateau that stretches to France and on the other, the Aletsch Glacier. 2. Eiger Express Tricable Car
The Eiger Express tricycle car will take visitors from Grindelwald to the Eiger Glacier Station in 15 minutes. This ride is not only one of the most scenic rides, but it also takes them to the Jungfraujoch and the slopes in 47 minutes less time than before. The Eiger Walk and Eiger Trail also allow visitors to enjoy the scenery on foot.
3. The world’s highest Lindt store
This chocolate shop is located amidst the clouds. It is the highest Lindt shop in the world where one can taste the flavours, buy sweets and end their trip on a sweet note.
4. Snow Fun Park
Snow enthusiasts can refresh themselves and try out winter sports at the Snow Fun Park. These include ziplines, sledding, tubing, skiing and snowboarding.
5. UNESCO World Heritage Site
From the Sphinx Observation Deck, one can see the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the longest glacier in the Alps. It is the first natural heritage site in the Alpine region, with views across Italy, France and Germany.
At the Jungfraujoch, travellers can see both the commemorative plaque unveiled by Neeraj Chopra and the iconic javelin donated by him. Receiving this honour, he said he felt on top of the world, as he was standing on top of Europe.
