EXO leader Suho, also known as Kim Jun-myeon, visited India for the second time on October 18. While this was his second visit, it was the first time the EXO member performed in Mumbai. He arrived in India on October 17 amid chants of fans, before enthralling fans with his debut performance at Bayview Lawns in Mumbai.

Dressed in a red shirt paired with a black blazer and trousers, Suho made quite a visual impact as he began his set with “Hello”.

Accompanied by his band Suho, he made sure the energy remained high throughout his one-hour setlist. They opened with performances of Morning Star, Self-Portrait, 1 to 3 and For You Now, before moving into an EXO medley featuring Growl, Overdose and closing with Let’s Love and Made in You.

Suho was welcomed with thunderous applause, and EXOLs chanted his name while shining EXO lightsticks, making sure the leader could feel the love the group receives in India. Suho acknowledged the affection and mentioned that he did not expect the crowd and energy to be so intense but he was pleasantly surprised.

Introducing himself in Hindi, he said, “my name is suho (My name is Suho)” and promised that he would soon return to India with his EXO members. He ended the concert by expressing his love towards Indian EXOLs, saying, “i love you (I love you).”

Suho also mentioned that he was excited to tell his fellow EXO members about the energetic fans in India. He didn’t forget to remind fans to keep showing their support for EXO throughout the setlist.

For those unfamiliar, the EXO leader visited India nine years ago for a variety show, where he was asked to photograph a couple at the Gateway of India. In a reunion of sorts, Suho admitted that the man was also in the crowd and reflected on how the K-pop scene has evolved globally.

Suho’s next performance will be held on October 20 in Bengaluru.
