It’s been less than a week since Prabhas’ Kalki 2898 AD released, and the excitement around the film is still intact. In fact, after the film’s release, several theories have surfaced online about the possible plot of future films.
The most obvious of these is the potential clash between Kamal Haasan’s Supreme Lord Yaskin and Amitabh Bachchan’s Ashwathama. It would be an epic moment for Indian cinema, with two legends of the game taking on each other in the same scene. What an idea!
Nag Ashwin plans a contest between Amitabh and Kamal Haasan
During the interview, Nag Ashwin was asked if there are plans to have a face-off between these two characters as per popular demand.
When asked if he has any plans or ideas to show a confrontation between Amitabh and Kamal Haasan, he replied, “Yes, there are many things like that in the second part. But, I think we can’t talk about it right now.”
Then, the director gave some clarity and reassured fans somewhat, “But such things will definitely happen.”
Going by Nag’s statement, Indian cinema is perhaps not ready to see the two most influential personalities coming face-to-face on the biggest stage.

Furthermore, when asked if he would introduce any new characters in the second part of the film, Nag replied, “Yes, there will be new characters, and there will be a new world as well.”
So far we have seen Kashi, the last remaining city on the planet, Shambala, a refugee camp, and Complex, the heavenly figure in Kalki’s world. What is the fourth world being cooked up by Naag Ashwin?
