Rakesh Roshan has left no stone unturned in the preparations for the grand re-release of Karan Arjun and has even released a new film trailer for fans. But it had the voice of his son and actor Hrithik Roshan and fans were surprised by it. Recently the actor-director shared the reason for this decision.
In an exclusive interview with Pinkvilla, Rakesh Roshan shared an interesting story of Hrithik lending his voice to the updated trailer of the 1995 hit film, which also came as a surprise element and added a little modern touch to the classic.

Reflecting on the past, he first revealed that a random person had done the voice-over. But, when the Fighter actor saw it, he was mesmerized and asked, “It gave me goosebumps! Wow, what a trailer. Can I do a voice-over?”
Rakesh Roshan immediately agreed to his son’s idea. He said, “I told him, ‘If you do the voice-over, it would be great.'” But this unplanned film delighted fans who witnessed this unique collaboration that now brings Hrithik together with Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan. Also connects to the film. Pointing towards the same, Roshan said, “They did the voice-over, so now it is Hrithik, Shahrukh and Salman.”
Apart from revealing the War actor’s admiration for Karan Arjun, it also conveniently added a new surprise element for the fans. So, while the trailer retains the core spirit of the film, it also adds something new and relevant for the current generation.
The new trailer has already gone viral on YouTube and has been trending for quite some time now as fans are feeling nostalgic and are now looking forward to seeing the classic and their favorite actors on the big screen.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Shah Rukh Khan is working on his next film, Sujoy Ghosh’s King, where he will share screen space with his daughter Suhana Khan for the first time. While Salman Khan is shooting for his next film Sikandar, co-starring Rashmika Mandanna.
