A source revealed, “Janhvi Kapoor is currently in advanced discussions to come on board for the female lead. If finalized, this will be the first on-screen collaboration between Shahid and Janhvi… The story revolves around a fun and relatable relationship journey. It’s a pure comedy, and Shahid is excited to revisit this genre after some time.”
Known for his work in films like Badhaai Ho and Maidaan, Amit Sharma brings a strong blend of humor and heart, making this pairing worth watching. After Shahid completes the shooting of Raj and DK’s Farzi 2, the film is tentatively scheduled to go on floors in late 2026. The makers are planning to take the film on floors in October 2026, with pre-production going on in full swing.
