In 2024, Bhushan Kumar, JP Dutta and Nipi Dutta joined the army in the biggest war film of Indian Cinema, Border 2. Shortly thereafter, the makers announced the film’s star-staded line-up with Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanj, and Ahaan Shetty. The film went on the floor in November 2024, and the shoot has been going in full swing since then. Pinkvilla has specifically learned that Diljit Dosanjh is ready to start shooting for this Anurag Singh from 10 June.

Like the first part, it is also set against the backdrop of the 1971 Indo-Pakistan War.
