Exclusive: Deepak Dobaril says that he is waiting for the right biopic, not only a role
Actor Deepak Dobiyal shared his desire to challenge real -life characters in biopics, including Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Pinky Pramanik and Dhyan Chand. He also talked about avoiding repetitive roles and choosing a strong script with good directors and star cast.

Actor Deepak Dobiyal recently talked about the kind of work he wanted to pursue and is facing the challenges of choosing meaningful projects in today’s film industry. In a special interview with India Today, Dobiyal shared that despite his long wish, he is yet to be taken to a biopic, something that he is expecting to do from 2007-2008.
Talking about the roles that he wants to play in his upcoming films, he said that he wants to do biopics on Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Pinky Pramanik and Dhyan Chand.
“There are many characters that I want to play. I want to do a biopic on Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, I wanted to do one on Pinky Promotion, I wanted to do one on meditation Chand. There are many others. And I will not say anything yet, because I am saying that I am talking about it. He said.
Dobriyal shared that he is ready for the characters contained in real life or literature because they demand depth and difficulty. He said, “I want to do these roles because they are challenging. People already know these figures and praise them, so it is very difficult to portray them. Or if it is a character based on literature, or a person from real -life events, there are kinds of roles that I want to do,” he explained.
The actor also addressed the tendency of the typist of the Typist and how the producers often push for familiar formulas. “Really very good scripts are coming to me. Therefore, I do not want to repeat the kind of roles I have already done. I want to do something new. But the manufacturers often have a direct demand – take this actor, take this actor, his comic timing is great, or his villainy approach is fantastic. Here, you are expected to show the shades.
Deepak Dobiyal has created a reputation as one of the most talented and versatile actors in Indian cinema, which has memorable performance in films like ‘Maqbool’, ‘Omkara’, ‘Delhi -6’, ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ and ‘Hindi medium’. He was last seen in the 2006 Crime Thriller ‘Sector 36’ based on Nithri serial murders, where he played the role of Inspector Ram Charan Pandey in front of Vikrant Massey.
