Cinema lovers can’t keep calm for the much-awaited reunion of Akshay Kumar and Priyadarshan. Pinkvilla has exclusively learned that the trailer of Bhoot Bangla will be paired with Dhurandhar 2 in theaters from March 19, ensuring a massive launch on the big screen for the horror-comedy entertainer.
According to sources, the makers are planning to unveil the trailer digitally in the second week of March, possibly between March 9 and March 18. “The trailer cut is locked and the team is extremely confident about it. The idea is to first create strong digital chatter and then capitalize on the theatrical audience of Dhurandhar 2,” revealed a source close to the development.
Given their successful track record in the comedy field over the years, Akshay and Priyadarshan’s reunion has already created quite a buzz. With Bhoot Bangla, it is going to be bigger and better with unexpected twists. Insiders suggest that the trailer balances horror elements with classic Priyadarshan-style anarchy, while presenting Akshay in his OG space with which his fans have long associated.
Linking the trailer with Dhurandhar 2 is being seen as a strategic move. The source further added, “It’s a conscious decision. The target audiences overlap significantly, and the scale of Dhurandhar 2 provides the perfect platform.”
If everything goes as per plan, audiences will get the first glimpse of Bhoot Bangla online in the coming days, followed by the big screen experience from March 19. With nostalgia, horror, and comedy, the stage is set for one of the most exciting trailers this month.
Meanwhile, the first song sung by Armaan Malik and Arvan, Ram Ji Aake Bhala Karenge is going viral. Starring Paresh Rawal, Tabu, Vamika Gabbi, Mithila Palkar, Jisshu U Sengupta, Manoj Joshi and Rajpal Yadav, Bhoot Bangla is all set to release in theaters on 10th April 2026.
