Ever since Tere Naina singer Shaan praised Arijit Singh; ‘At the end of the song, it’s like going into a trance’

Arijit Singh is undoubtedly one of the most loved singers both in India and abroad. In a recent interview, Shaan expressed his admiration for Singh, praising the emotional depth of his songs, which left him spellbound. He also said that Singh’s honesty is evident in his music, which listeners can relate to on a personal level. This connection is a major reason for his immense popularity.

Every Bollywood fan is mesmerized by Arijit’s singing and the industry often discusses the possible reasons behind his huge success. Recently, Shaan sat down for a chat on The Ranveer Show and shared his opinion about the Channa Mereya singer and his popularity.

The Jab Se Tere Naina singer told that every singer has a unique way of presenting a song, like he will not sing a romantic song like Singh. But, the latter one treats the song with sincerity, and it can be easily felt.

She further added that she is often amazed when Arijit surrenders to a song, like when he sings his popular song Tum Hi Ho from Aashiqui 2 starring Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor. But that part impresses the audience, who can feel the truth in his singing.

Giving the example of Arijit’s song Channa Mereya, Shaan said, “I thought that the voice was bursting, cracking, there was no clarity of notes, but there is honesty and it came through.” (I thought her voice was breaking; some notes had cracks and lacked clarity. But her sincerity is there, and it comes through.)

Reflecting on his experience, the Deewangi Deewangi singer recalled that when he started working in the industry, a singer was not allowed to add his own interpretation to a song. Instead, composers like Anu Malik or Nadeem-Shravan would take the decisions and the singers would have to technically sing in that direction.

However, today there is no such rule, and singers add their own interpretations to the songs, and composers are used to it, so Shan feels this is an advantage for singers today. In this context, he appreciated the outrolls in Arijit Singh’s songs and mentioned, “I like some of his outrolls at the end of the songs because he goes into a transfixed mode, which is nice.”

Shaan debuted as a playback singer in the film Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhie in 1999 and his song ‘Musu Musu Hansi’ became quite famous. She has sung many popular Bollywood songs like ‘O Humdum Suniyo Re’ from Saathiya, ‘Kuch To Hua Hai’ from Kal Ho Na Ho, ‘Main Hoon Don’ from Don – The Chase Begins Again, ‘Chaand Sifarish’ from Fanaa and more. a lot. ,
