Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna have given fans a glimpse of their Haldi ceremony. The couple shared colorful moments from their wedding festivities on Instagram on March 16.
The Haldi ceremony, organized as a part of the series of celebrations, took place in Udaipur and was attended by only close friends and family.
Haldi Ceremony: Colours, Happiness and Family Traditions
Describing the Haldi ceremony, Rashmika said, “It was like Haldi + Holi.” He elaborated that the event was full of colours. “We got so drenched and immersed in the color that I still have a little bit of redness left in my hair,” she wrote.

Sharing her thoughts further, Rashmika mentioned the playful atmosphere. She said, “And PS: I won all the games that day with the incredible help of my Team Bride! FYI.. even Vijju was Team Bride that day!”
Vijay also reflected on Haldi Diwas, writing, “Haldi Diwas – the morning after a music festival that went on till late in the morning 🙂 It would have been impossible to stay awake any other day, but we were all excited to see each other, excited to spend time with our families and friends. And we had lots of water, colours, music and action to keep us all awake.”
The couple expressed their gratitude to the staff of the hotel where their wedding took place, as well as designer Anamika Khanna, who designed their haldi outfits.

The wedding ceremony followed Andhra and Kodava traditions, representing the cultural heritage of both families.
After returning from Udaipur, the couple arranged for trucks to deliver the sweets to major Indian cities like Hyderabad, Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Bengaluru and Ahmedabad. He also organized Annadanam in 16 temples across India.
Eventually, they hosted a wedding reception in Hyderabad on March 4. The event brought together colleagues from the film industry including Kriti Sanon and Karan Johar.
