Actor Emraan Hashmi recently commented on the rumours surrounding Rajkummar Rao’s alleged plastic surgery. During an interview, Emraan was asked why actors undergo plastic surgery. He then asked the interviewer to name actors who underwent surgery and that’s when Rajkummar’s name was taken up. To which Emraan replied ‘yes’.

Speaking to ScoopWhoop, Emraan Hashmi said, “It is a fact. The cosmetic business is well promoted. Everyone wants to look like the poster boy or girl and there is a certain definition of beauty. You want to mold yourself according to that because that is what gets you love and makes you feel good. Talking about cosmetic surgery, in case you are wondering, I have not undergone any surgery.”

In April, Rajkummar Rao was in the news for rumours of having undergone plastic surgery. He refuted the claims, saying, “I have not undergone any plastic surgery. If you look at that picture again, how is it possible that in 14 years, there is one picture and no other picture like it? I think it is definitely a touched-up picture because my skin looks so flawless. I was also surprised how my skin is so flawless even after shooting for the whole day and without any makeup.”

Rajkummar revealed that he had fillers a few years ago to feel more confident. “8-9 years ago, I had a little touch-up with fillers on my chin, which was a half-hour job. I wanted to feel more confident, which I do. I definitely feel more confident,” he said.

Emraan Hashmi was recently seen in ‘Showtime’. The second part of the Disney+ Hotstar series started streaming from July 12.
