Ellen Pompeo misses being ‘salty’ as it was not more valuable on gray anatomy despite 13 unsuccessful pilots of Patrick Dempsy

Ellen Pompeo recently shared her experience of being on the anatomy of Gray, highlighting the disappointment for all the years that was evaluated as the star of the show despite being one-especially compared to co-artist Patrick Dempies, which was a better salary despite being the first 13 unsuccessful pilots.

Call appearing in the latest episode of its Daddy Podcast, Pompeo spoke about his experience on the Panth-Pasandida medical drama, stepped back from the lead role, and made an infection for Hulu’s Good American family.

She also fell into the battle that she teased to acquire equal pay, eventually reached the position of the highest-paying actress in a television drama in 2018, earning a $ 20 million per season.

Pompeo admitted that Dampi’s higher salary was initially understood. He was a more experienced actor with high name recognition, and was not well known. He said, “To be completely fair, the television game was very different then. He did 13 pilots in front of me.”

From a commercial point of view, his fame and exposure were worth great salary. Despite being a failed pilot, Pompeo said, “(Dempsi) was a big star than (he) at that point. Nobody knew who I was.

He said, “I was not salty about finding her.

However, as the series expanded its main character with Pompeo, she felt that she should be rewarded on the basis of how she was important for the foundation of the show. Before requesting an increase in salary, Pompeo Show, Shonda Rhymes went out of his way to discuss the issue because the actress had faith in her.

Pompeo said, “I see how much ‘Gray’s Anatomy’ makes for ABC/Disney. I get to see the number. This is my face, this is my voice. I have done so much work to promote the show worldwide for the last 20 years. I am a Disney Princess of that franchise.”

His anger himself was not against Patrick Dempsi, but was against the network’s refusal to accept the same value for the success of the show. For Ellen Pompeo, the real lethargy was the moving industry thinking that kept a higher value on the male stars.
