Dubai Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) has announced the opening of applications for the Hamdan Bin Mohammed Scholarship Program for the 2026-27 academic year. Launched in 2024 under the directives of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, the program aims to provide Emirati students access to leading global universities and prepare them to become Dubai’s future leaders. The scholarship is open to students aged 16 to 20 years who have completed their high school education during the 2023-24, 2024-25 and 2025-26 academic years. Eligible candidates can apply through “Dubai Now” app, the last date for application is June 30, 2026. With a total budget of Dh1.1 billion, the program offers 100 fully funded scholarships every year to outstanding Emirati graduates from public and private schools in various courses. This initiative enables students to pursue graduate degrees at leading universities around the world. Since launching in 2024, the program has already shown strong results. Approximately 70% of scholarship recipients are currently enrolled in universities ranked in the top 100 globally.
