Kamala Harris recently received strong support from another world famous artist Katy Perry. The Dark Horse singer recently appeared at an online campaign meeting hosted by Harris’ team. However, former President Donald Trump’s team has a lot to say later.
“Both Kamala Harris and Katy Perry’s careers are in decline, which parallels our failing economy and border security under Kamala’s watch,” former President Donald Trump’s team told TMZ.
The team even said that the country should not worry about the situation at all, as Trump would take control in a matter of weeks and “Make America Great Again!”
These strong statements come after Katy Perry’s appearance in Kamala Harris’ ongoing campaign.
Sources with direct knowledge of Harris’ campaign told TMZ that a regular all-staff Zoom meeting was held on Friday. Then the campaign chief of staff mentioned that she wanted to introduce someone who was close to Kamala Harris and also a big supporter of the current Vice President.
Meeting members were soon introduced to Katy Perry, who praised the employees and their hard work.
The Last Friday Night singer then gave everyone a flashback of her relationship with Harris, while also talking about her strong commitment to him.
While Perry reminisced about her sweet times with Harris, dating back to when she was the senator from California, The One That Got Away singer also hailed the VP as an incredible, intelligent and heart-centered personality.
Praising her firm, fair, fearless and brilliant attitude, the artist also mentioned that Kamala Harris is exactly the leader America needs in the current times.
With the election just days away, the California Girls singer sent her warmest wishes to Harris’ staff, reminding them to stay hydrated and caffeinated, while also telling them to keep fighting for their candidate.
Katy Perry was spotted stepping out in support of them in a stunning look with a camo-patterned Harris-Walz hat.
After this, she became another big name after Taylor Swift, who had announced her support to Harris a few days ago.
Apart from Perry and Swift, the long list of celebrities showing their support for Harris includes Billie Eilish, Megan Thee Stallion, Ariana Grande, Lance Bass, Lil Nas X and a few other names.
Even Ocean’s Eleven star George Clooney is a big supporter of Kamala Harris.
