Prime Minister Narendra Modi has gifted Dokra Artwork – Musicians gifted French President Emmanuel Macron with a study stonework.
Dokra Art shows complex craftsmanship using an revered metal-cipping tradition of Chhattisgarh, ancient lost wax technology. Inherent in the rich tribal heritage of the region, this artwork reflects traditional musicians in the dynamic pose, highlighting the cultural significance of music.

PM Modi was on a three-day visit to France from 10-12 February. In a special gesture, the French President came to see PM Modi at Macron Airport. The two leaders also exchanged warm throat. PM Modi left Marsile in France for Washington, DC for the second phase of his two-nation visit.

During his meeting with President Macron, the two leaders reviewed the progress on the 2047 horizon roadmap for India-France strategic partnership. The two leaders visited the city of Marsile, France to inaugurate the first Indian Consulate of France. He also visited the International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor Project, including a member of the Consortium of India Partner countries, which includes France.
PM Modi also paid tribute to the Indian soldiers who lived their lives during the World War II and II Mazargues War Cemetery. PM Modi and Macron also visited the control room of CMA-CGM, a global leader in shipping and logistics.
